Janrain helps organizations succeed on the social web with its user management platform. A key component of the platform is Janrain Engage, a hosted solution for social login and publishing. Leveraging an existing identity profile with Facebook, Twitter, Google or another provider, users can login to a site as well as share their activities (comments, purchases and reviews) to their social networks. Marketers using Janrain are able to increase registration rates, create more personalized and profitable relationships, and extend brand reach. Janrain solutions are deployed on over 250,000 websites including Sears, NPR, Fox News, Universal Music Group, and Kodak.

JanRain has been a recognized leader and catalyst driving the OpenID market forward since 2005. While providing OpenID solutions for both consumers and businesses, Janrain has helped create the OpenID Foundation and the majority of OpenID-enabled websites are currently running Janrain open source libraries. Janrain was founded by Larry Drebes, a founder of RocketMail (acquired by Yahoo and eventually became Yahoo! Mail).
